LiceBoss consists of seven modules that can be used individually to meet your particular need. If you have not used these Tools before you may need to read and print the Instructions for the modules you plan to use.
Short wool DSS: Assists in deciding whether or not to treat for lice at or soon after shearing. It can also help identify potential sources of infestation and assist the design of a lice biosecurity plan.
Long wool DSS: Helps determine the best course of action when lice are found more than 6 weeks after shearing.
Ewe-lamb treatments: Helps choose a treatment strategy when lice are found in pregnant ewes or ewes which have lambs at foot.
Products: Displays a list of registered products available for lice and flystrike control.
WoolRes: Estimates the pesticide residue concentration likely in the wool at the next shearing.
Treatment DSS: Assesses dipping, showering and backline application methods and helps identify faults in technique and possible causes of a treatment failure.
Rubbing DSS: Helps determine whether rubbing is due to lice or some other cause.
